Obituary

Doug Vill, 59, died May 18, 2019, in Ketchikan.

He was born Jan. 9, 1960.

Mr. Vill spent most of his life in Ketchikan, and worked at several local businesses, including Safeway and Newtown Liquor.

“Doug was a gentle soul, and always had a smile on his face,” his friends write. “He had many obstacles to overcome, but that was one of his likeable qualities. ... He will be missed by his friends and acquaintances.”
