Louise Ellen (Melton) Craig, 65, passed away suddenly on March 7, 2023, at her home in Kent, WA, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and generosity. Born on November 20, 1957, in Ketchikan, AK, Louise was a vibrant woman who lived life to the fullest. Louise’s unwavering dedication to helping others was evident to everyone who knew her. She had a larger-than-life personality and was always the first to reach out to someone in need. Her kindness and generosity touched countless lives and will be remembered for years to come.
Louise’s passion for gardening was a true reflection of her vibrant spirit. Her love for nature was evident in the stunning flowers and fresh vegetables she cultivated in her garden. She had a green thumb and spent many hours nurturing her plants to perfection. Louise was also an amazing cook and loved nothing more than preparing delicious meals for her family and friends. Louise Ellen (Melton) Craig is survived by her beloved husband, Troy D. Craig, who was her rock and soulmate for over 17 years. She also leaves behind her sons Drew Wills and Walter Onstad, his wife Shyanna, and their three children, Stella, Daniel, and Stephen, who brought immense joy to her life.
Louise is also survived by her loving sisters, brothers, and their spouses - Heleena Collins (Charles), Richard Melton), Diane (Peterson) Miller (Jim), Michael J. Peterson (Lisa) and Gary C. Peterson (Nancy).
Louise is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Stella Peterson, sister Shirley A. Melton and brother Robert (Wayne) D. Melton.
Louise will be deeply missed by her children, sisters, brothers, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, all who were touched by her kindness and generosity. Her passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew her, but her memory will live on through the love and light she brought into the world.
